Rainwater Harvesting
Most people use very expensive and extremely clean water to water the plants, wash the car, or regularly toping up the garden pond. The water does not need to be this clean, and is far too expensive to literally be putting back into the soil or pouring it down the drain.
A lot of us use water butts to save rain water for the garden. But a 200 litre water butt will run out quickly in a drought. We can easily install tanks typically from 2000 litres to 7000 litres, buried in the ground out of sight. In doing so, you not only protect yourself from running out of water for the garden, but also save on your consumption of mains water. A complete timed/pumped irrigation system can then be set up to cope with the watering of your plants.
Internally with an additional small tank in the loft typically 150 litres, being fed from the rain storage tank we can link the system into your home for WC flushing and even feeding the washing machine. If the rain water storage tank ever runs dry it will automatically switch over to water mains making sure your toilets and washing machine does not run out of water.
